Oral thrush refers to yeast infection in the mouth. Candida is the fungus causing yeast infection. It is present in the mouth and is controlled by the immune system of the body. One should use a soft toothbrush for brushing. It can be painful to brush. Hydrogen peroxide should be put on paper or in a foam cup. After brushing the brush should be put in hydrogen peroxide to remove the infection.

Hydrogen peroxide should be mixed with water. The ratio should be 3:1. Three parts of water should be mixed with one part of hydrogen peroxide. To begin with one can take one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide and three tablespoon of water and slowly the amount should be increased. The mouth should be rinsed with the mixture and it should be spitted out.

One should rinse mouth four times with hydrogen peroxide solution daily. One should rinse mouth early in the morning and also late at night before going to bed.

Along with this one should also follow good oral hygiene.

  • Do not share toothbrush
  • Rinse mouth with warm saltwater. It is very effective in curing the infection.
